Global Engagement Visiting Fellow at the University of Wyoming

Dr. Nordin Yahaya is a Professor of Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a 2024–2025 US–ASEAN Fulbright Visiting Scholar in the United States. He is currently a Global Engagement Visiting Fellow at the University of Wyoming, where he continues his work on global competence, internationalisation policy, and higher education leadership. He also leads the Erasmus+ CBHE Project – Dxsea, focused on accelerating digital transformation in Southeast Asian universities. Previously, he served as Director of the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) under Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (2019–2021) and as Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) at UTM (2013–2019), advancing internationalisation and strengthening the university’s global profile.

Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia

Pawan Dutt is a senior lecturer of laws related to intellectual property and digital technologies at TalTech Law School. His educational background includes Bachelor´s degrees in Chemistry (from St. Xavier´s College, Mumbai) and in Law (from Government Law College, Mumbai), a Master of Arts in Law from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and a Ph.D in Management Sciences from Estonian Business School. He is an advocate and solicitor and is a member of various law associations in India. His areas of research are intellectual property law, digital laws  and competition law and he has various publications related to these topics. He has been involved in several international projects concerning the study of this field, funded by the European Union, USAID, etc, both within and outside Europe.

Dr Sanjaya Mishra is one of the leading scholars in open, distance, and online learning with extensive experience in teaching, staff development, research, policy development, innovation, and organisational development. With a multi-disciplinary background in education, information science, communication media, and learning and development, Dr Mishra has been promoting the use of educational multimedia, eLearning, open educational resources (OER), and open access to scientific information to increase access to quality education and lifelong learning for all. He has designed and developed award-winning online courses and platforms, such as the Understanding Open Educational Resources, Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action, and COLCommons.

Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA)

Prof. Ts. Dr. Syadiah Nor Wan Shamsuddin is a Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Computing, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom (2012), and her academic journey spans over two decades since joining UniSZA in 1999.Her research expertise lies in Virtual Reality, E-Learning, and Multimedia, with extensive publications in indexed journals and active involvement in national and international research grants. She has also served in various leadership roles, including multiple terms as Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Computing and Director of the Centre for Academic Excellence and Innovation. Prof. Syadiah is a Professional Technologist (Ts.) recognized by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a recipient of numerous innovation awards at national and international levels, such as ITEX, PECIPTA, and MPI. Beyond academia, she contributes actively to community and educational innovation initiatives, emphasizing the integration of technology, creativity, and human values in higher education.

Dr. Syed Norris Hikmi Syed Abdullah is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and the Director of UTMXCITE (Centre for Student Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship). He has over 25 years of teaching experience in Computing and Information Systems. Dr. Norris holds a PhD in Information Systems from The University of Queensland. His expertise includes Strategic ICT, Data Analytics, and Information Systems (IS) Implementation/Governance, with publications in journals like Information Systems Frontiers. He has also been a key consultant on major projects, including the Malaysia Artificial Intelligence Roadmap.
